Intro3

Checkpoints are sections in the game that allow you to continue after you run out of balls in Smash Hit (if the player has purchased the Premium Edition). Checkpoints are used in Classic Mode, Mayhem Mode, and Training Mode. When a ballcount is higher than the original ballcount of a checkpoint, it is saved, and checkpoint 〇 saved (the circle 〇 would have a number inside it) will appear in the Smash Hit font. See the image of Checkpoint 3: Intro3

Other checkpoints:

| There were no checkpoints, there were instead three separate levels, which were not connected to one another. This was not seen publicly until the build was downloaded from Apple's servers. |- |v0.8.0

|

|These are old 0.8.0 versions of the checkpoints. They are so different from the actual checkpoints, that they need their own pages.

|Introductory Stage (Teaser), Checkpoint 2 (Teaser)Unknown Checkpoint

|The Unknown Checkpoint is most likely an earlier version of the Deathstar Checkpoint. |- |v0.9.0

|- |Soft Launch

|Checkpoint 8 and Checkpoint 9 were added (again), Checkpoint 7 hosted the tunnel to Endless Mode.

|This version was only available to Australia and New Zealand. Checkpoint 7 had the tunnel to Endless Mode. | |- |v1.0.0 (Initial Release) |Most players think: Introductory stage, Checkpoint 1, Checkpoint 2, Checkpoint 3, Checkpoint 4, Checkpoint 5, Checkpoint 6, Checkpoint 7, Checkpoint 8, Checkpoint 9, Endless

|Most players think that the 9 original checkpoints, as well as Intro and Endless were released here, despite earlier versions existing. The tunnel to Endless Mode was also moved to the end of Checkpoint 9. |- |v1.2.0

|Checkpoint 10, Checkpoint 11

|The Tunnel to Endless Mode was moved from Checkpoint 9 to Checkpoint 11, subsequently, the door outline was swapped for a normal door, and the stone was flattened to accomodate the button. See Tunnel to Endless Mode for more info.

|- |v1.3.0 (iOS) or v1.3.4 (Android)

|Alternate versions of the 13 checkpoints for Mayhem Mode and Training Mode. Classic Mode was also seperated from the other Game Modes, and used as a base for the checkpoints.

|Not including Zen Mode rooms - this game mode is a huge maze of shuffling rooms. The full zen mode is considered a checkpoint itself. |- |v1.4.0 |Local Multiplayer

|These two modes are considered to be two rather long checkpoints themselves.
